Why nonprofit WyoLoan?
You can cut your interest rate by ½% just by having your WyoLoan payment automatically deducted from your savings or checking account each month.

Repayment

Paying back your loan.
Staying on top of your loan payments saves you money and builds a positive credit history that can help you borrow money for a car, a home, and more. At the same time, missing payments or not paying the entire amount of your monthly installment can damage your credit rating and affect your ability to take out loans for substantial purchases in the future. You must repay your loan even if you don’t complete your education.

Your responsibilities
You can request a deferment or forbearance of payments if you are having financial difficulty. You can prepay your loan in full or in part without penalty. You must notify WyoLoan if you change your name, address, phone number, employer, or Social Security number.

WyoLoan responsibilities
We offer five types of repayment schedules – standard, graduated, extended, income-sensitive, and consolidation. Before you repay your loan, WyoLoan will provide you with a repayment schedule and details. If you graduate, leave school, or drop below half-time status, we’re required by the federal government to notify you of your rights and responsibilities, loan repayment options, and the consequences of defaulting on your loan
