The application procedure differs depending on whether or not your school accepts electronic signatures (e-signature). You can find out by searching your school’s website or by calling the financial aid office.

If your school does accept e-signatures:
Please fill out the student loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) on the school's website and apply for a student loan directly from the school. Choose WyoLoan (lender code: 827283) as your lender. If WyoLoan is not a preferred lender on your school’s site, follow the site directions to add WyoLoan to your MPN or call the financial aid office for assistance. You may need to use your Department of Education PIN to provide your e-signature when prompted. If you are attending an out-of-state school, provide the school’s financial counselor with a copy of the WyoLoan out-of-state introduction letter to acquaint him or her with our processes and benefits.

If your school does not accept e-signatures:
Choose the appropriate promissory note for a Stafford loan, Graduate PLUS loan, or PLUS loan. Complete the form with your name, Social Security number, address, driver’s license number, and two personal references. Choose WyoLoan (lender code: 827283) as your lender. When your form is complete, use your browser’s print button to print at least two copies. After signing and dating the printed forms, submit one to your school’s financial aid office and keep the other for your records.
